​For a brief time in history, ATX provided our company with a school-bus video DVR that was almost exactly what our customers in the school-bus video surveillance camera markets wanted.

Likely this had something to do with the fact they sent our company a sample of their system; it was larger than a small suitcase and was missing virtually every feature that was needed in the school bus market for sales.

​I created a 20-point Features List and suggested these improvements and enhancements to their system, which would make the MDVR less than 1/4 the size of the system they were previously offering for subway or train applications. When they presented this Features List to George Tang Industries, they created a new system based on it, and that system became the best-selling camera system for school buses that we had ever offered or knew of at that time.
The only feature I suggested on that list that was not embraced was an analog video output for use with any older analog TV or display to program and access the MDVR. They went with a digital-only output, then required the customer to purchase their overpriced display to access the MDVR.
