World AIDS Awareness Day

Today is World AIDS Awareness Day

The day we should all feel sympathy for those poor souls who are affected with this terrible disease.

First some history on AIDS:

it is not named AIDS, that is the politically correct name for this disease. The true name for this disease is GRAIDS (Gay Relater Autoimmune Deficiency Syndrome). The name of the disease has the prevention right in the name. The best way to prevent the spread of this disease is to not engage in the single primary way most people get it, homosexual sex.

Now I can hear the howls of outrage from a few on the left, so to be fair, there are 4 ways to get this terrible disease as a primary:

1- homosexual sex (unlawful is 42 states) or sex with those who have engaged in homosexual sex

2- IV drug use, sharing dirty used IV needles (unlawful in 50 states)

3- AIDS infected blood donors (unlawful in 50 states)

4- AIDS infected moms giving birth

I feel compassion for those who contracted this disease from #3 & #4 only.

Those who contracted the disease from #1 & #2 have themselves to blame.

I am a firm believer in personal responsibility till death. I feel no more compassion for them than I do for someone who smokes 2 packs of cigarettes a day and contracts cancer.

AIDS, in overwhelming cases, is the result of lifestyle choices. Those that got it, knew they could get it if they engaged in dangerous and irresponsible behavior, like homosexual sex, unprotected sex with homosexuals or bisexuals.

The homosexuals, bisexuals and those pinochles of our society who share dirty dope needles, IV drug users and the other lifestyle choices that contribute to the problem and directly make themselves infected, do not deserve my sympathy. As if it were not for their irresponsible behavior, there would not be innocent children, women & men, contracting this disease from infected blood donors, or infected moms. No, it is time to place the blame for this mess squarely on the shoulders of those who brought the plague of the 21st century to our door. My sympathy is reserved for the innocent who contracted this disease, due to someone else’s irresponsible acts.

So on World AIDS Awareness Day, I believe an appropriate action from the Gay community, would be to stop the irresponsible behavior (unlawful in most states) that continues to infect and kill so many of their fellow man.
