self-sacrifice and dedication,
are all characteristics of a United States
Marine we have come to recognize, appreciate and admire.
To stand at attention in a locked salute on the world’s stage during this solemn occasion, is exactly what is expected of him representing his country and the core.
What is not expected is his honest, display of his love, admiration and respect for a man whom he may have never met, yet shared so much in common with.
The reason the US Armed Forces are
such a power for good, is because they are not just following orders, they have
hearts the size of lions and are passionate about who they are and why they
serve.
Ronald Reagan chose to make the hard choices and do the right thing even
if it was not popular. I thank God for a leader of his magnitude, vision and
resolve.
