LIBERALISM OVERFLOWS WITH COMPASSION
Like a toilet with the stopper hung up on the chain, the water keeps flowing like their endless tears of sympathy for "the children", for the pedophiles, murders, rapists who must have been abused as children, for the poor Muslims who must have been driven to violence by some abusive Western action or influence. They obsess on the motive of senseless hate crimes of terrorism and opine that if only they could reason with those poor distraught one who wrap themselves with bombs and target our children and families while we are sharing the fruits of our labors with our loved ones only to be blown apart, crippled, maimed and disfigured or worse in their despicable screams for attention. They compassionately seek to try to understand the feeling of those doing evil, in some pathological attempt to understand the mechanism of their thinking so they might be able to reason with them. Too often this compassion is either misplaced on the perpetrator of these acts and not the true victims of them. Those poor innocent victims of these hateful acts are not the recipients of their sympathies as they spend little time or effort to help them, but exert massive investments of time and effort worrying about the perpetrators tortured psyche.
Is it European moral based, work ethic guilt that they have been successful in life and thus blame themselves for every one else's failure to follow the simply paths to success and prosperity? I can almost hear the screams of "they were poor, born in poverty and destitution…bla, bla, bla". Some of histories most influential people started life in poor to modest status and did manage to rise above their socioeconomic situations? They did not choose to blame others for their plight, but chose a different path, the one of enlightenment, hard work and dedication and were rewarded for their efforts.
Most would assume that universal wants; desires and goals for ones family are shard by all. Security, food, education and a better life are some of the most basic wants of every parent for their children. There are however exceptions to every rule. Radical Islam teaches children to hate, indoctrinates them into a deluded reality where they are expected to murder others, expected to pay homage to a dark strain of Islamic teachings that not only justifies unimaginable brutality, unspeakable evil, but does so in the name of Allah.
In modern memory this planet has not witnessed such gutless act of cowardice blended with unlimited capacity and desire to wreak hideous acts of evil on a daily basis that what we are now seeing with radical Islam. Brainwashing young children to do their dirty work, lying to them telling them their chest wrapped explosives will burst into flowers, or the little known recruitment practice of baking a mans young child in an oven and serving him on a platter with an apple in his mouth to get that mans complete loyalty to their cause, for fear of losing the rest of his family to the same gutless cowardly acts against an innocent child.
A world full of peaceniks, pacifists and activists never stopped the unimaginable evil committed on a daily basis on Sadams behalf, nor the ethnic slaughter in Africa. Hollow speeches presented by professional liars with staged photo ops from the Hollywood and Entertainment industry were flaccid threats that only served to amuse those committing true atrocities against humanity.
Political activists and politicians who claimed to want peace were simply manipulated and used as unwitting pawns by those whose intentions only recognized the true use of power.
It is a unequivocal reality that the history of mankind has been ruled by the aggressive use of power. Tyrants, dictators and despots will not yield their nefarious reign of terror to anything less, so after diplomacy has failed and genuine attempts have been mad to stop the human suffering and atrocities of a regime, there is only one alternative they will recognize and sadly that is the application of force.
Thank God it is not left up to the Liberal to ensure America survives for the generations that follow. There are still red-blooded Americans who have hearts full of compassion and love but more importantly have functional minds capable of logic based reason, moral based decisions and the determination and commitment to doing the right thing regardless of the cost.
There is one group in this country that has consistently stepped forth, offered themselves for public service in the defense and protection of America. They like their predecessors have made it their own responsibility to earn in the past, and now defend in the present, the very rights we enjoy, take for granted and squander. It is through their continued commitment to their love of country, love of family and moral convictions that they continue to stand between America and every threat to our way of life.
A few comments about war from those who understood it:
War is cruelty. There's no use trying to reform it, the crueler it is the sooner it will be over.--William Tecumseh Sherman--
Never give in--never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.--Winston Churchill--
Some people live an entire lifetime and wonder if they have ever made a difference in the world, but the Marines don't have that problem.-Ronald Reagan—
The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave...--Patrick Henry—
We make war that we may live in peace.--Aristotle--
In war there is no substitute for victory.--General Douglas MacArthur—
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.--John Stewart Mill--
Once we have a war there is only one thing to do. It must be won. For defeat brings worse things than any that can ever happen in war.--Ernest Miller Hemmingway--
People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.--George Orwell
